Women Empowerment (Thematic)

Image
Women Empowerment is made up of two words, women and empowerment. Empowerment means to give a power or authority to someone. Our society comprises men and women. In early times, men are considered to be the leading members of family. On the other hand, women were responsible in doing household work and caring their children. And yet, we cannot deny the fact that the gender inequality ia still exists to the world.       Empowering women involves encouraging them to be financially, culturally, and socially independent.  Covid 19 pandemic is not just a health issue. It is a profound to our society and economy, and women are the heart of care and response efforts underway. Women are serving on the frontlines against Covid, and the impact of crisis on women is stark. Women must be given equal rights opportunities in every field, irrespective of gender. As a Covid-19 continues  to disurpt the global economy and society, it becomes more evid...

For All You Do

Mother's Day is a holiday honoring the mother of the family or individual, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on different days in many parts of the world, where it is observed on the second sunday of May.        The day was expanded to include others, such as grandmothers and aunts, who played mothering roles. Many people gave flowers, chocolates, and send cards to their mother as a special gift in Mother's Day. Our mothers are like a security blanket to us because she saves us from all problems. She never regards her own problems and listen to us all time. Without mothers in our lives are nothing. We are so lucky as we have a mother. This event is of great importance to us and our mothers.        Thank them for all the works she does for them and wish them a happy Mother’s day. No one can replace them at any cost. 3rd Quarter: New Learning

Image
In the third quarter, I’ve learned a lot of things about the lesson taught us in ICT. I also discovered a lot about our traditions, businesses, language and literature that we use, and many more that have in our town/municipality. I learned many things but there are also some problems that I have encountered.        A challenge is something new and difficult which requires great effort and determination. This grading is kind of challenging, I don’t know what to do. But these problems taught us not to be give up easily. And, I believe that the lesson were taught us can help in the future.        I am looking forward to learning more things in the next quarter. Acquiring additional knowledge and information is such a huge thing for me because I know that it will help me a lot in the future.

Day of Valour

Araw ng Kagitingan, also known as Bataan Day and Bataan and Corregidor Day, is a national observance in the Philippines, which commemorates the fall of Bataan during World War II. It falls on April 9, although in 2009, its celebration was moved to April 6 to avoid it from coinciding with Maundy Thursday.             On April 9, 1942, officials in command of Bataan where Filipino and American forces maintained the main resistance in the war against the Japanese, formally surrendered. According to historians, this was meant to recall the thousands of Filipinos who dedicated their lives to free the country during World War II.               Bataan became a symbol of hope, so it was a painful defeat for Filipinos when it fell on April 9. Despite the defeat, the battle in Bataan became a historical moment not only for Filipinos, but also for the entire world. Reference http...

The season of the lent is the time  of preperation for Holy Week leading up to easter. Throughout Lent, most Christians adopt a period of fasting, repentance, prudence, and spiritual development.            This year, lent begins from wednesday, February 17 to thursday, April 1, while Easter is April 4. Lenten season is different in the previous years, but it remains the same, with the global pandemic. Masses in various churches continued, but the protocols/rules must be followed, like social distancing and wearing face mask.           Lent is a time to grow in and strengthen our faith, which binds us together and makes all things possible because of our love and devotion to Jesus.
