2nd Quarter


 

          Another quarter has passed, another new knowledge that have been gain in this quarter. In this subject, during second quarter, I have learned many things, I may have encountered problems and challenges, but I easily coped it and keep going. 

          Moving on, I hope that the next quarter will be exciting, and I will keep going and do my best no matter what happens.

      Viva Vigan 2nd year celebration of "Binatbatan Festival of the Arts: A tapestry of culture and arts woven by a miracle" is celebrated from the last week of April to the first week of May was originally the Feast of the Natives that began on May 3, 1883, according to the writings of Damaso King, a well-known Vigan historian.        The streets were closed, people flocked in certain locations. Drums are beating loud and clear. Colorful costumes are being worn by the street dancers as they proudly proclaim "Viva Vigan!" Movements are restricted, gatherings are limited, even if this activity was expected to attract spectators, health protocols must still be observed.             Covid-19 is a disease caused by the most recently discovered coronavirus. What do we need to know about Covid-19 vaccine? Can we trust it's safety?           There are four types of vaccines in clinical trials, these are the whole virus, protein subunit, viral vector and nucleic acid (RNA and DNA), each of which protects people, but by producing immunity in a slightly different way. The vaccine are safe, to help protect people against coronavirus, it is also effective and build to save lives. But people who are currently unwell with Covid-19 should not recieve the vaccine until they have recovered first.          The world needs vaccine to end this pandemic. Importance of Earthquake Drill

     The Earthquake drill seeks to strengthen the mechanism for National and Regional Coordination. It aims to intensify local communities of local government units in building safe communities. Our safety does not rest in our hands, if one person alone. It rests in our hands as we put them together on the effort of building safer.         Earthquake preparedness is very important to make sure know how to respond by doing duck, cover and hold approach, where people would either hide baneath the tables, during shaking or go to safer place, and covering our head with our hands. National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill is a mandatory requirement on our preparedness efforts.
